Clifton Park and Halfmoon Emergency Corps services extend far beyond the back of the ambulance. We are dedicated to building community partnerships that promote health, safety and education.

Our outreach programs have a great impact on the community:

We are dedicated to creating a Heart Safe Community through CPR education and promoting public AED access.

We regularly offer the Babysitting Safety Course, Safe Sitter®, which is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The Instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises.

We hold blood pressure clinics, and help educate on the importance of updated medical records, such as File of Life.

We love providing safety education and risk prevention to community members of all ages!

With 4 out of 5 Child Safety Seats being used incorrectly, it is important to have your child’s Car Seat inspected by a certified technician. We have regularly scheduled car seat check clinics every two weeks, by appointment only.

We are so grateful for the strong support of our community so that we are able to provide these added programs as a resource.
